We want the people of Hamilton to be part of one of the most important and exciting private initiatives the city has seen and to take ownership of the cultural development of our region.

Sculptures become a part of our identity. They are an investment. They showcase the vibrancy, maturity and strength of a city. They create a legacy.

Mesh extends an invitation to you to share in building this legacy for Hamilton and enriching the lives of the residents of this city. In so doing you will also be helping to foster the practice of contemporary sculpture in New Zealand and promote art philanthropy.

You will be part of a tradition of excellence, helping to guarantee that this body of work continues to grow and inspire generations of art lovers for many years to come. The sculptures are a voyage of discovery around our city. Mesh is dedicated to becoming a part of the fabric of Hamilton and ensuring we have a strategic long term development plan to allow the regular placement of the highest quality public artwork throughout the entire city.

We will keep you informed of all-important happenings including the selection of works through the commissioning processes, their installation and their unveiling.

Mesh is dependent for all its revenue on the grants, donations and sponsorships provided by its supporters.

Our donation packages allow for a range of people, businesses and other Charitable Organisations to contribute and genuinely leave their mark on Hamilton.

mesh sculpture hamilton is the operating name of Hamilton Sculpture Trust, which is recognised by the Inland Revenue Department as a Charitable Organisation.

Our Charities Commission registration number is CC44.

Individuals receive a 33% tax rebate on their donation.

There is no limit on the rebate payable, therefore a donation of $100,000 will be eligible for a tax rebate of $33,000.
